A Hero-U Halloween

Hallow Meep

You are all invited to the first annual Hero-U Halloween celebration. Starting late Friday, October 26 (California time, PDT), we will update the Kickstarter page with new artwork, pledge levels, and unique backer rewards. Just wait until you see the new prizes in store for you!

Many of them will be limited edition and just in time for Halloween. (After all, who wouldn’t want their very own crypt in the catacombs to haunt?)

We will start out the event with a Google Hangout to meet and greet our supporters, fans, and interested Spectres… er… we mean spectators, of course.

We’ll have Hero-U avatars with disguises for you to use, spooky wallpapers, and eerie music.

We’re also planning on some door prizes and special treats for the ones who attend our talks.

Stay tuned for more details… this is going to be fun. (After all, it’s Halloween!)

Yes, this will be an on-going event through Halloween. We’re starting around midnight east coast time on Friday. We plan to have Google+ hangouts going frequently (assuming, of course, that we can figure out how) around the clock. After all, we have to deal with Australian and European times, too. Fortunately, we’re too excited to sleep (much).

I just read one of Lori’s comments on the Kickstarter. So this will be an ongoing thing until Halloween night? I guess my comment below doesn’t quite apply then? But please still consider scheduling the talks and special events you mentioned at the most approachable time possible (maybe Saturday midday would work?).

  3. Sameer Says:

Very cool! I just hope you don’t start too late on Friday, as it makes it harder for us east-coasters with early Saturday morning responsibilities.

This is very exciting. I love Halloween, it’s my favourite holiday.

I have been looking forward to the Halloween portion of your campaign, and it sounds like you’ve got some really interesting things lined up.
